about me
hi i am christine and i made this website! i am 22 years old and i live in iowa. i am a weird lady who thrives on computer time and has kinda forgotten to grow up. i am mostly just drifting through life figuring out how to be human
the 2000s have a special place in my heart, primarily the technology, toys, and aesthetics of the time. i take a lot of inspiration from those things in designing this website, as well as in the way i dress, decorate my room, and of course curate my pinterest boards. (this page however is currently mac os 9 themed due to me not yet having a clue as to how to replicate the beautiful aqua UI of early OSx versions. platinum it is)
my childhood computer was a 2005 17" imac g5 with an ambient light sensor. it was my dad's and he gave it to me when he got a macbook. it originally ran 10.4 tiger until i upgraded it to 10.5 leopard. then a few months later the screen stopped working. i cried
i am a big collector of lots of things. i love any kind of merchandise relating to my interests, particularly figures and plushies. i tend to collect within specific years. my collection is currently primarily made up of G1-G4 mlp figures, 1959-2010 barbies, 2006-2008 littlest pet shops, rainbow high dolls, spongebob merch, and lots and lots of sanrio. i also have an apple II, a macintosh SE, and a few ipods, along with a DS lite, DSi XL, new 3DS XL, and a bunch of DS games. my technology collection is very humble but i hope to expand that next because i'm a little burnt out on dolls
i am a cat mother of 8. all of them are rescues and two of them are fosters. i do everything i can to help the stray cats in my community because none of them deserve to be without loving homes. my family has also helped to adopt out about 10 other cats, also all former ferals
